UPVC Fascia Board Supplier North West
Swish 16mm fascia boards are BBA Certified, do not require a backing board and will carry the weight of the eaves tiles and the gutter. The 9mm Cappit profiles are designed primarily for overcapping of existing roofline construction in refurbishment projects. They are not able to support the weight of eaves tiles or guttering on their own and should be fixed to existing sound timber or suitable backboards at 600mm centres for white and 400mm centres for foiled and coloured profiles.
Swish cladding profiles now carry the CE marking in compliance with the Construction Products Regulation 2011. Since 1st July 2013 it has been mandatory for manufacturers to apply the CE marking to any of their products which are covered by a harmonised European Standard.
Our Swish fascia boards are all manufactured out of uPVC instead of the traditional wooden board commonly used in the past, we like them more than their wooden counterparts due their ability to resist wear and tear, aesthetic value and ease of maintenance.
For over 20 years we have provided both the trade and private customers with the highest level of service, and quality with our PVC products and our fascias are no exception. We’ve gone out of our way to find and select the best boards available on the market.
Unlike their wooden counterparts, a uPVC fascia are resistant against water damage, rot and the general decay that organic building materials are prone to, decreasing their natural lifespan and requiring you to replace them quicker, and more expensively than the PVC fascia.
Even compared to materials you may consider that aren’t commonly used in a fascia, such as aluminium you will find that the uPVC materials won’t rust, warp or degregate over the same space of time. Not only that but uPVC is an excellent insulator, unlike aluminium which will often do nought by make your home colder.
So whether you’re refurbishing your property, having renovations carried out or you have a development project, and you’re unsure about what kind of fascias to use, give us a call to find out how our uPVC fascias could make a huge difference in your process.
